- Duties included: I have involved in multiple projects. Officially, I have worked on “Seismic assessment of Hospital Buildings of Mandi District, Himachal Peadesh, India”. This work involed performing field vists for priliminary evaluation using rapid visual survey (RVS) followed by detailed assessment involving non-destructive tests and numerical investigations. Based on the detailed assessment, various mitigation/retrofitting measures were proposed. Besides, I worked on my research to study the effect of infill walls on the blast response of buildings. This work was successfuly published in “structures journal”. Moreover, I also collaborated with a PhD scholar on “Construction Practices and Seismic Vulnerability of Building Stock in Indian Himalayan Region”, by an extensive field survey of 1009 buildings in mandi town. This work was published in “ASCE Natural Hazards Review.”
